You're the reason we've created this website. It's the public face and most expansive reach of Inspire! Women's Mentoring Ministries…the way we can offer you our vision, resources and partnership, whether you are here in the US (we're in Washington, DC) or in another country across the world.
We're truly committed to serving the mentors Jesus loves and hope that you will feel like you've found a gathering place of real women like you, eager to receive a daily handout of grace.
Before we give you a snapshot of what's here for you, a few introductions are in order. We like knowing and being known…don't worry, it will take no more than a few seconds.
I'm Susan O'Banion, Founder of Inspire! Women's Mentoring Ministries and Publisher of this site and all of its resources. You can learn more about me here.
As Publisher, it's my privilege to introduce you to Cary Campbell Umhau, Senior Writer and my friend and colleague. An experienced mentor, Bible teacher and writer, Cary plays a significant role in the development of our site and is a major content contributor. You'll be hearing a lot from her.
You might want to get to know her better right now by reading her winsome bio or you may prefer to continue exploring and get to know her through her writing. Whichever you choose, I know that God will minister richly to you through her.

While income from our website helps us to produce a steady stream of new material for your growth and encouragement in mentoring, our primary goal is to get material in the hands of women who would be strengthened by it. About Inspire! (you're here now) tells you who we are, what we are as a site, who our leadership is and what we believe and stand for ("spiritual transformation through gospel mentoring").
Mentoring Articles is a section with dozens of articles written to teach, equip, comfort, and challenge you. Some are purely logistical and some are more theological. All are written with "God's name and renown" in mind. New content is added regularly, and a variety of God-honoring voices is featured. Peruse this section and you'll be drawn in and strengthened.
Mentoring Community is where you interact with others through discussion forums, through site feedback, through reading the testimonials and stories of real mentors and their mentorees. You can join in and become known by others or read along quietly. Our online community augments your in-person relationships but never seeks to replace them!.
Mentor University, we are proud to say, is what it sounds like. Think of it as higher education for mentors. We are planning regular webinars, teleseminars, live events, and free monthly call-ins. We want to provide a steady stream of ways in which you can be equipped and nurtured beyond articles and audio. There's something for every learning style and schedule.
Mentoring Programs is where we review the best in mentoring programs and curriculum available for purchase throughout the world. We hope you'll love the studies that I write. Part of Inspire!'s vision (as you can read here) is the publishing of outstanding materials.
My own studies, Titus 2: Spiritual Mentoring for Women, used fruitfully in over 50 churches, are the nexus and foundation of our publishing efforts. We feature those and studies produced by other members of our Inspire! team because we believe they are stellar.
Yet we want you to get the materials suitable to your needs and objectives, regardless of the authorship. So we also list Biblical material from other sources and make it easy for you to explore alternatives. When ours are best for you, great! When others are, that's great too. This is about God's glory and your mentoring.
Mentoring Resources is where you can peruse annotated lists of all sorts of mentoring resources. And we hope you'll tell us about others you find helpful. All of our sections will grow and change but perhaps this one most of all, as we update you on new books and other things that will equip you and bolster your mentoring relationships.
Other is, well, everything else like terms of use, privacy policies, and all of that legalese. We believe it matters because we want to serve you with integrity in all our dealings. We're real women looking forward to relating with you as real women, and we want to honor God in how we interact, even in cyberspace!
